Kathmandu Inside Out
Excellent for small groups, couples and families, this trip showcases Kathmandu in a very offbeat light and at the same time showcases the rich culture and soft adventure this place offers.
The days are mixed with expereinces in traditional food, rich culture, energetic hiking and ends with a relaxing touch!
We start with immersion into the Nepali architecture and food and then move on to what Nepal is famous for, hiking and trekking. Once we experience this, we move on to more local connect, before winding it out with a farewell dinner.

Upon arrival, pick up from the airport and transferred to the hotel. Time permitting, a sunset walk to Soyambhunath Stupa and then a traditional welcome dinner at a renovated palace. You have arrived!

Post Breakfast, we shall conduct tours of the city to understand the deep culture that Kathmandu has. In the afternoon, a detailed trip briefing will take you through all the different features of the trip.

We will start the day early, first we will drive in a private vehicle to Sankhu which takes approx. 1 hr. After we reach Sankhu, we will hike up to Nagarkot which takes around 3 hours. We will enjoy the view from Nagarkot and have a relaxing evening.

On this day, we will again start early to enjoy the sunrise from Nagarkot. Then after breakfast, we will hike down to Dhulikhel which takes around 4 hrs enjoying the amazing view of the mountains from the ridge.

Today we hike to Namaboudha for Lunch before getting picked up and driven to the ancient town of Bhaktapur where we shall spend the night!
Pre Breakfast tour of Bhaktapur, called the DAWN @ Bhaktapur before getting driven to Kathmandu from Namobuddha which is around 1 hrs without traffic (we expect a lot of traffic in this route). You can spend your free afternoon, shopping and exploring around, and later we will go for a farewell dinner.
According to your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport.

Think only safety. Safety from the rain, the cold, the heat and the altitude. So simply put the bare essentials would be
- RAIN - a rain jacket and if required during monsoon, rainproof pants
- COLD - layers of clothings - thermals, tee shirt, fleece, windstoppers and down. Sleeping bag and liner for the night
- HEAT - Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses
- ALTITUDE - Water bottle, snacks and a great Attitude! The rest is all about building an itinerary thats going up slow!
