At Socialtours, we offer flexible payment options—from cash to digital transfers—so you can choose what works best for you, wherever you are in the world

1. Cash Payments

We often say—if it buys us a bag of rice, it’s good enough! While that’s said in jest, we do accept most major hard currencies that can be exchanged in Nepal. Cash payments are ideal within Nepal—especially for smaller amounts or when digital options become expensive due to fees. Final installments can also sometimes be settled this way if convenient for yo

2. Flywire

For international payments, Flywire is our preferred partner. It allows you to receive an invoice in USD, but pay in your own currency, saving on exchange losses and hidden bank fees.

  • Pay via credit/debit card or wire transfer

  • Ideal for both advance deposits and final payments

  • Easy, fast, and secure

We highly recommend this option for its efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

3. Digital Wallets & Mobile Payments (Within Nepal)

When in Nepal, we accept local mobile payment solutions like:

  • eSewa

  • WeChat Pay

  • QR code payments for direct bank transfers

  • (Coming soon) UPI and Indian mobile payment systems

These are quick and convenient for day-to-day transactions once you’re here.

4. Credit Card Swipe (in Nepal)

You can also pay via credit or debit card when you’re here, using our card machine. However, do note that this attracts a 3.75% surcharge, which goes to the banks—not us! It’s a standard charge across Nepal, so it’s good to be aware of it beforehand.

5. Direct Wire Transfers

We are authorized foreign currency handlers and have bank accounts in:

Nepali Rupees (NPR)

US Dollars (USD)

Euros (EUR)

British Pounds (GBP)

Wire transfers are perfect for large payments like deposits or final confirmations.

Details are as follows:

Bank Name: Nabil Bank Ltd.

Once we confirm your trip, we’ll share the correct account details depending on your preferred currency.
