You will start the days with a vigorous and energizing Ashtanga yoga practice. After breakfast you are free to enjoy the surroundings, go for walks or simply relax in the ambience of beautiful Begnas Lake resort. In the afternoon you will explore yoga postures, technique and Philosophy.
During this retreat, you will have a unique nature and outdoor experience while deepening your understanding of Yoga as a spiritual journey. In the quiet and serene surroundings of Begnas Lake, you will get introduced to the counted vinyasa system of Asthanga Yoga, thats makes your practice focussed and clear - combined with Buddhist philosophy that brings about the insight and compassion of a spiritual hero.
What will you benefit?
Ellen Johannesen, born in Norway, has been practicing Ashtanga and taught internationally for more than 20 years. She is a third series practitioner holding an authorization level II from Sharath Jois, Mysore. Since 2011 Ellen has lived in Kathmandu where she teaches classes, workshops and retreats while completing her MA in Buddhist Philosophy and Tibetan Language.
